What is Extended Local Dialing Area (ELDA)?

Extended Local Dialing Area (ELDA) is the new way to make your local telephone calls go farther. Now you can call almost anywhere in Southeast Michigan as a local call, with NO per minute charges!

How does it work?

ELDA works like a phone card. From your home phone, simply dial the local ELDA phone number for your area, wait for a another dial tone, and then dial the phone number of anyone within the ELDA coverage area.

Do I have to change Long Distance Carriers?

NO! ELDA is an add-on service that does not affect your long distance OR local phone service. You continue to make local and long distance calls as usual. You must dial the local ELDA number for your area when you want to utilize the service.

Are the people I want to call covered by ELDA?

Just click this link to see if the number(s) you want to dial is included in the ELDA dialing area.

How much does ELDA cost?

ELDA costs just $5 per month, and is billed along with your TC3Net Internet subscription.

How do I sign up?

To sign-up for service, visit your Account Toolbox and login. There, click "View Billing Items". Select the ELDA product from the drop down menu and add it. Than's all there is to it. An eMail with the local ELDA phone numbers for your area will be emailed to you within a few minutes.
